I learned from an article in a recent issue of Motorcycle Consumer News that my initials PTW are now in use by the European motor vehicle safety community for “powered two wheelers”. Motorcycles and scooters, to the rest of us.
Initial “As well” considered annoying

Am I the only one who thinks that sentences that begin with “As well,” are ugly, non-idiomatic, annoying, and increasingly ubiquitous? Or is it just a pet peeve of mine?
